Country Fair

Okay, what am I doing in front of this table with danish flags all around it in some basement during the Saturday evening?
I'll tell you: I was preparing for the country fair that went on today. Another district was lacking a danish guy so they called into my network and made me use half of my week for preparation. (Well, actually I was sick for some days too, so they shouldn't all count as working-hard-on-a-project-days. I'm more effective than that, you know.

So this morning, I was up quite early. The thing started at 8 am, so I tried to get up at 6 so that I could get there in time. (Joni's car lost it's radio this saturday day because it wasn't parked within a security cameras angle so we couldn't use that one to carry the heavy stuff around. May the thief loose his right arm in a terrible accident just by the way.).
In the above picture, I'm digesting a sammich after arriving a half hour late. I went to take a shower yet still my hair looks terrible.

These Brazilian noisemakers made sure that everyone who had a lot to say ended up with loss of speaking ability this evening. They were entertaining though.

Actually, Joni was so nice as to snatch my camera and take some pictures for me. I was stuck in the extremely narrow space between the wall and the table, (which became narrower all the time due to excited people pushing the tables in, hah,) virtually all day, so I wouldn't have any pictures for you should I have taken them all by myself.

Conscripted a bit for my soon-to-rise empire there - as always.

Oh... Japan is so close. They were probably my only real competitors for attention (I mean based on the decoration). Actually the japan stand was really well prepared. They had snacks and a computer for showing pictures too. Furthermore they had a big collage and most importantly: Kimonos. Damn.
Nonetheless, I still beat them pretty bad at getting attention because I look like Leonardo Di Caprio. HAH.

The Switzerland table doesn't look too impressing I must say. They were probably told about this event even later than me.

Oh, the french are here too.
But they look so messy. They probably also bribed someone to put them at such a favorable location, so lets just ignore them, eh?

There were also some Indians (from India-Indians) there acting and speaking as if they were Americans. Madness.

That's Mexican right? I'm not so sure actually. I'm terrible at Mid- and South American culture.

There were this really bright girl that you unfortunately cannot see anything than the back head of, who had a lot of questions about Denmark. She seems to have studied it a lot already, and she really wants to go there she said. I think if that is your attitude and you can also speak English as well as she could, then I really cross my finger that I can get to bump into you there next year, no matter who you are.

And the mandatory group pictures with the gang.

Left of me is another outbound who wants to go to Denmark as far as I'm informed. I can assure you that so far, I can confirm at least 4 Taiwanese wants to go to Denmark next year. So you better start sending some more troops down here Denmark. Just three people is way too few.

Joni has a lot of the honor for getting all this decoration done. She got most of the stuff here. She even contacted the Danish Representative Office so that I could go and get some folders from them. I just helped cut a bit in the flags hanging around the table and preparing some Danish pictures to get attention. And the candy I gave away was provided by my real parents back in Denmark.

Wah! My laptop has gotten infected by liberals!

Hmmm. Around one and a half hour to prepare all the pictures and the text for this. Not bad eh?
Now, I'm going to sleep now. It's Monday after all. Hopefully I'll get a mail from the radio-journalist who interviewed me during the day. I'm really wondering what kind of radio broadcast it was used for. Goodnight.
