This time I got really lucky. Found a laptop that is just perfect for my class so that I can perhaps soon get me into some more high game instances, and I didn't even waste all of my DKP yet. Actually less than half: 28.000 NT$ to be exact (that's about 865 US$ or 4350 DKK), and that is for everything: Laptop, USB mouse, operative system and related shit plus a free computer bag and misc. I haven't checked yet.

This equipment has a 500 GB harddisk inside.
It has two processors at 2.2 GHz and 4GB RAM.
And then it's equipped with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 with 512MB memory (the newest ATI graphics card right now as far as I am informed) to go with the 15.6" HD LCD Screen.
It also has a "Crystal Eye" which a quite good webcam I haven't tested too much yet though.
Only downside is that the equipment is cursed. So I need to go see the blacksmith to get it removed sometime when he figures out how to do it.
When Windows 7 is oficially released in Taiwan sometime in October, I will get the opportunity to swap Vista away for Windows 7 for just 300 NT$.
However, the laptop is not my only new gear I want to present to you. I also got an MP4 with an imba sound quality bonus plus a very high base outlook value that I can prolly use to pwn some of those iPod specced Macdoods in the bragginggrounds:

This is an iriver E50 MP4 with 4GB space and lossless sound quality. Actually, I'm not really 100% sure of what lossless would mean exactly in this situation, but I can asure you, the sound quality on this machine is better than anything I've ever heard before. Also, this model is especially popular in Taiwan and is really hard to get your hands on right now because of how long it's battery can hold for: 52 hours.

Actually I got this as a birthday present about a week ago. My birthday is at 2nd October so that's pretty early. But my host mother, Joni, just couldn't wait with giving me my present.
It showed up that the one she bought for me was already a little used. Not much, but still, we decided to complain to the store and get a completely fresh one, which just arrived today.

Oh, so you notices there are actually two E50's? Yeah. Because today when Joni picked up the fresh one for me, there were one more left in the store, so she decided to buy another one for herself. Just now she finally got her MacBook to cooperate with the non-iPod MP4-player, so I am not alone with my amazement over the sound quality.

Yeah! Taiwanese LAN party! I'd really love to practice some more in taking pictures of electronics. Everything looks so shiny over here, and then it's not even too expensive.
Hey. I hope you can have some luck to get cool stuffs too sometime soon. Maybe the iriver E50 is coming to your country sometime soon too?
(Damn this is so much free advertisement. I'll have to call the people designing iriver sometime soon and ask for a contract lol.)
