Like waking from a coma

by sander15. August 2010 18:47

So school started again. I'm finally back in a serious type of education with homework you must make and grades you have to keep good. Not that I weren't learning in Taiwan, but at least now I will have to put a bit more effort into some things. I'm in an entirely new class of course, of people that I don't really know that much. Luckily I do know a lot of people all around the school and that have a lot of classmates whose friends I know or have in some other way previously acquainted.

Everything has been looking so much like it all were before, but now there's a lot of difference all of a sudden. Both the combination of classes I take. (Last year was all about Physics, Chemistry and Biology and now I've got Religion, Psychology and Classics.) And of course also the people. Feels more as if I have been in a coma for 1 year and just woke up forsaken by everyone. What an eventful turn I have taken in my life with all this. Ah.

I made some sushi this Friday. Got a chunk of "raw" fish, (but it had been frozen before, meh,) and turned it into a dinner for a dozen hungry classmates from my old gymnasium class. Didn't taste as good as even the stuff they sell at sushi express in Taiwan but I guess people there liked it a lot still. I guess the further you get from Japan, the lower the standards? I should really go there. (And I will. There's no stopping me!) I was told that sushi should be even better over there.

Looking good? I mean: It's not like a chef made it, but I cut them all my self. I think I did pretty well. (This is my plate with all the best of them on. You can't see the others.)

Also spent my night up to Sunday playing computer games with some friends all the way back from primary school. That was nice. And I feel tired and lazy in a kind of good way now. Just hope it'll go away before the weekend ends. Tomorrow I'm gonna have a Multi-stage fitness test. Fucking crazy school. They do that every year.

Now I'll have to see into socializing a bit with those new guys over at my school during the next week. It's going to be exciting getting to know another few people for a year.

And you too! You'll be in unfamiliar surroundings just as much!
